Elected as a member of The London Group

I feel very honoured to have been elected as a member of The London Group and to be part of an artists’ collective with such a rich history.

Formed in 1913, it is one of the oldest artist-led organisations in the world. It was formed by an amalgamation of the Camden Town Group and the Fitzroy Street Group. Founder members included Walter Sickert, Jacob Epstein, Spencer Gore and Wyndham Lewis. The founding group created a unique structure for an organisation which has gone on to successfully nurture the careers of many of Britain’s best-known artists.

I was fortunate enough to be able to exhibit with the Group last year and was able to see the vast array of ideas present amongst the esteemed members – such an inspiring collection. I am very much looking forward to being able to share my time and skills with the group and hope to work, exhibit and share ideas with everyone soon.
