April saw me travel to Montemarcello, Tuscany for a residency with fellow artists.
Montemarcello is a car free village, surrounded by it's medieval walls and sits overlooking the Mediterranean Sea nestled in a national park.
Whilst there I also took the opportunity to visit to Pisa, Lucca, Siena and possibly my favourite, the world famous marble quarries of Carrara.
The residency was full of artistic challenges, classical architecture, cliff-edge treks, drawing in the wilderness, art debate and of course tasty Italian food!
